30 June 2009 A Final FarewellJack D. Hunter was laid to rest in a military funeral on Friday, May 29, at 11:00 a.m. at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, Jacksonville, Florida. His ashes were buried along with those of his “darlin’ Tommy.” The family held a reception afterwards for those who attended the service, and several people spoke of their relationship with Jack and the fond memories they shared.
